Introduction |
| |
| Digital outdoor printing represents an evolution of the silk screening industry. Many traditional screen printing businesses are investing in digital outdoor printers to compliment and expand their existing businesses. The technology is far less labour intensive and cost effective for the production of large scale outdoor prints, of which clients rarely need large print runs. In addition precise colours are easier to achieve and colour gradients smooth and seamless in comparison to screen printing. .

| Especially over short print runs where limited quantities are required, digital printing is cheaper and the quality superior to that which can traditionally be achieved with screen printing. One should remember though that there will always be a place for traditional screen printing in the market and large format digital outdoor printing ‘compliments’ rather than ‘competes with’ existing screen printing technology. |

| Nashakele Graphics (Pty) Ltd has scooped the rights to distribute some of the leading brands from the East. In partnership with the manufacturers we are able to bring sturdy, quality printers to the market at a fraction of the cost of most other large format printers currently available. The attractive price of our entry level 1,5m machine means that this highly lucrative market now has come within reach of the small business entrepreneur. |
| |
| If you think about it, everywhere we look there are billboards, large signs, vinyl stickers, cars are branded and even wrapped, the sides of trucks are branded in blazing full colour digital prints – these things are all often done using large format digital printers. With major international events scheduled regularly to be held in South Africa, this market (already worth hundreds of millions of Rand) will only grow and there is room for the small business owner to enter the market and claim a piece of it. |
