The process of solvent printing is a remarkably simple one. Corrosive inks are used with specially designed large format printers to print onto various suitable substrates such as PVC, vinyl and flex. The inks “eat” into the print surfaces thereby bonding to them permanently for outdoor applications where a very durable print is often required to withstand weather.
Full solvent prints tend to be more durable than others where less aggressive inks are used. If one rubs some prints with your finger the ink can be removed and often they need to treat the prints with a durable lacquer for outdoor applications. Such treatments are not necessary with full-solvent.
As a result of our commitment to quality at the best price, Nashakele Graphics (Pty) Ltd only carries full solvent large format outdoor printers.
